Message	In case you don't feel like reading the history in the FAQ. In short: We took over the database of messages from the original tt.com when it was sold. This comprises the first roughly 60,000 messages in the technical forum (back then we only had one forum). The first post (as has already been noted in this thread) is HERE The first official tt.NET post would have been on 6/3/1998 around 10:35pm by Damon when we launched tt.NET. That post is HERE On Jan 1, 2000 we launched 'tt.NET 2.0' which included the ability to change themes and views to customize how you view the forum and changed to a SQLServer backend. On July 5, 2000 (after having shut down for a month) we launched the General forum to split up general chit-chat from technical questions. The first post is HERE Around August of 2000 I changed the code from a perl based solution to the .NET stuff that we are running to this day.
